WONDERLAND OF LOVE

Xu Kai, having one of the best looking faces in the acting industry, is understandably difficult to pair with an equally beautiful female lead. It even took me a while to watch this series because at first, the FL seemed ordinary to me but she has actually the kind of face that grows more beautiful the more you look at her. Having seen her act with Xu Kai in this series convinced me that Jing Tian is not only all looks but can also act exceptionally well, making her a total package. Her character here as a strategist military and a martial artist expert can really bring pride to women in general.

So this story is about people who bear great responsibilities, stake their lives in saving the world and fighting those who are greedy for power. In Wonderland of Love, you will come to see how beautiful life would be if people come together towards a common purpose and goal. How impressive that some would sacrifice so much so the world would be at peace and prosperous. You will also realize that the bad ones might come into power at times but they will not stay for long because only the good are meant to last.

There are so many interesting characters in this story aside from our fantastic main couple. I am particularly taken by the story of the former Crown Princess who has been an old lover of the traitor General. As much as she still loves the betrayer, all her choices are consistently loyal to the crown. She is willing to give up love and life to make sure her son lives on and takes back the kingdom. The general who protected the Imperial Grandson is also an admirable character, who in the face of death always stayed loyal and kind.

Other characters around our main couple are also very interesting and supported the story's development. Even the antagonists' characters were played really well. For me, they exemplify the truth that people are neither good nor bad. It is the choices we make that brand us so. But once we decide to take a certain course, then the momentum will take us further away from the other side. So it's imperative that we be careful on making choices.

All in all, this series is truly worth spending a lot of time in. You should not miss this masterpiece for you will surely be entertained by a great story and beautiful people that are pleasing to the eyes and to the heart as well.
