If there's one thing I learned from this series, it is that the future is not set in stone. It can and will be changed by the choices people make.

Perhaps because of my bias towards this FL but I do not like how her character is ungrateful to the people who raised and took care of her growing up. It really triggers my distaste for the way she treats her master. Even after knowing the reason why her master denied being one several times, she still treated him badly while he continued protecting her and choosing to let go of his very existence for the good of all. Until the very end, he still thinks of her safety and happiness. I also like the fact that the character Bian Luo Huan did not deny being scared but still decided to sacrifice himself so that the world can be saved.

It's funny to think that both the male lead and the second male leads are one and the same actor Xu Kai but from the very start I was rooting more for the second ML character. I even got to a point when I resented the ML character Yue Jin Zhao for coming back twice to life whereas the second ML's existence was wiped out for all eternity. It might be different for other viewers though but this just tells me how true it is that we look at people and life from the lens of our own perspectives. That's why we experience events differently.

As to the rest of the cast members, most of them are actually good at their craft and characters are on point. They make the complications of the story flawlessly interconnected. There are some concepts that are hard to swallow but having faith that everything is really possible in this world may help us accept and move on.

I do want to point out that in this series, there are so many people who seem bad but actually are looking out for the world. There are also difficult choices that we need to go through like should I fight for my own race or sacrifice my own for the good of the world. There are other ways to solve issues of course but sometimes we do not see those options and we are left making choices that are detrimental to the world at large.

If for no other reason than to realize the complexities of human existence and how we can always choose to do good, then SWORD AND FAIRY 6 is worth the watch.
