ONLY FOR LOVE

For the love of Dylan Wang, I purposely watched this series even if it does not belong to my favorite genre. I like this female lead though, Bai Lu, so it's a plus factor.

Also, I am amused and amazed that all the female characters here are Alphas. They take charge of their destinies even when it comes to romance. Our female lead is particularly entertaining in her pursuit of our male lead. Her motives at first are questionable but she came to sincerely love our handsome CEO not long after.

The story just became too long in my opinion. 36 episodes is a lot for this kind of story and the issues and conflicts became too repetitive and annoying. Bai Lu's character Zheng Shu Yi became the typical intelligent in all ways except in the matters of the heart. Too common in this kind of series, that while she is afraid of losing Shi Yan (our Dylan's character here), she keeps on doing things that hurt him and undermine his efforts. Instead of relating to her as a fellow woman, I came to think the way her character handled things is not a good representation of an ideal woman. While our male lead has been doing his best to make their relationship work, our female lead keeps on making the wrong choices and hurting our man.

The other two couples are both adorable in their characters though. Their appearances are also feast to the eyes and I am sure each of us can relate to one or more of them in one way or the other.

Family dynamics of the rich are portrayed here differently. It's one of warmth, constant support and loyalty. Lifelong friends are also made solid and dependable here. The kind that you can expect to work hand in hand in businesses as well as in private. All in all, it's a good story. A little splash of disheartening scenes here and there but mostly love, love and love.

One thing that I got reminded of in this story is that you can never predict when or how love will show up in one's life. And when it does, be ready to drop everything and do anything to make it work. Take heart though, because when it's the real thing, you only have to be yourself for no sacrifice is big enough for your happiness. True love always brings out the best in you and the one you love.
