LOVE'S REBELLION

The whaleboat concept is a pure genius in aesthetics. I have watched more than a hundred dramas already and this is the first time I came across this sea transport idea. However, if this is a real thing, how would this affect the whales? And how are they being directed at the captain's behest? They can be trained perhaps but at what cost? Oh well, this is a fantasy series and perhaps this is part of the magic of that time.

And surprise surprise! Both the male lead, who also stars in My Jouney To you and the female lead, who is the half of lead couple in Wonderland of Love,  are both stunningly beautiful and there would be no question on your mind if they're a good match or not. Their star power alone and together are truly commendable. A force to reckon with, the world will certainly be a better place with this couple in it. So impressed with these two that contrary to my usual reaction, I found myself looking out for the female lead's other series.

Added to this lead couple are two strong support cast members being led by the characters of young Dragon Lord and the Fox Prince. They both possess charms, power and loyalty that would surely pave the way for our lead couple to succeed in their endeavours.

In this series, you would witness a remarkable display of brotherhood. Although the quest for ultimate power at all cost is present in the story, it only defines the character of those who possess the best of hearts. They use their gifts and skills for the greater good no matter if they have to sacrifice their lives and the opportunity to be with their loved ones.

I also enjoyed the side stories of the previous generation which consequently paved the way for the present and focal point of the story. Although it was kind of sad for a beautiful and powerful woman- to be desired by so many, only to end up loving someone who loves power more than anything- that encounter still produced our heroine. It is also very relatable how everything and everyone are connected at some point in this maze called life. It can never be questioned that there is a grand design in this existence, virtual or otherwise.

That being said and all the romantic interludes waiting for you to enjoy this drama, start watching soon and you will also remember not to judge the book by its cover. To always look at the bright side of things and to know that no matter how long it takes, you will certainly end up where you should be.
